Romano Kher is a not-for-profit organization whose activities depend entirely on donations and in-kind contributions. Thanks
to our utilization of resources provided by research councils, universities, and cooperating individuals and organizations,
we have almost no administrative costs. Nobody connected with Romano Kher receives any kind of payment for work performed
on its behalf.
In addition to financial support extended by a number of generous donors, we have received important in-kind contributions
that facilitate the pursuit of our mandate. These include a renovated trailer - a legacy of CIDA's involvement in the Svinia
Project - which now houses a young Romani family, and the so-called 'Scottish house' erected by a group of architecture students
from the University of Edinburgh. This building, partly financed by the British Foreign Office, provides a meeting point for
our clients.
